Wrong plays are being called in Superstar mode

I’m 8 weeks into my season as an QB and now when I choose a play to be called, about half the time the play I pick is not being ran.

For example, I pressed the button to run a screen pass but when the play happened, it was a fullback run.   I pressed the button for a short pass to the receiver and it became a QB scramble..  

This is happening more and more frequently.  It’s Impossible to play the game if you don’t know what the team you’re supposed to be controlling is going to run.
