No owner mode feels even dumber with 1/4 of the NFL coaches getting fired.

I just want to reiterate this contention from release date to now.   For franchise players we just want to take our teams to glory and have the rest of the league run in a manner somewhat similar to...

I agree with all of that, I took over a team, created a coach and wasn't winning, figured I'd get a high draft pick and start the rebuilding process, even traded away players for more draft capital, I get fired at the end of the season, I can't even take over the team until the coach week, then I have to fire the coach they hired to take over the team, I REALLY want the owner mode back, this mode isn't any fun or realistic, in any way
