Not enough Penalties….Still!
This is a Sim football game. Allegedly.
With Facemask Slider set to 99 I have never seen a face mask called in a game.
With Roughing the Passer Slider set to 50 there are never any Roughing the Passer penalties called. With it set to 51, there are suddenly 4-5 per game. Can’t we find some middle ground where I can get 1 Roughing the Passer called on average per game?
With False Start Slider set to 99, I see an average of 1 False Start penalty (both teams combined) per game. The league average last year was 2.5 per game.
With Defensive Pass Interference set to 99 I see 1 call every 4 games, the league average is 1 per game.
Roughing the kicker rarely happens in the NFL, yet it happens once every 3 games in Madden.
Holding and Offsides are the only penalties that I can get to accurately reflect what happens in the NFL.
