Ranked 2v2 or 3v3 NFL Superstar KO Exhibition Mode
To the powers that be at EA and Madden,
This is a formal request for a ranked version of 2v2 and 3v3 NFL Exhibition Superstar KO Mode.
Why is it that 2v2 and 3v3 only exists in MUT? For money, we get it, you want people to spend more money building their MUT teams but, in my opinion, you are losing sight of the soul of your player base in the pursuit of their pocket and I am here to implore you to give a small concession in your march towards increased share prices, champagne filled board meetings, and sipping mai-tais on the yacht with a beautiful girl (or man) on your lap.
Madden has always been a way for football fans to feel one step closer to the NFL and to play with their favorite players and teams and while, yes, MUT allows you to build a team with whatever players you like, there is a reason why people didn't only choose to play the ProBowl when they used to sit down and play a couch coop or versus game. They would choose their favorite team, with their current roster, and go to battle on the virtual gridiron. It allowed for an authentic competitive gameplay experience where the best team and the worst team were not dictated by how much money the players had put in, but instead by what the true player ratings were.
The 1v1 version of this exists! You can still have that experience online, but in order for me to team up with 1 or 2 of my friends who are also fans of the same team, and go battle it out with 2 or 3 people online, I either have to use 'pay to win' made up teams of Pokémon players, or I have to play some weird hyper unrealistic arcade game mode to get my stats tracked.
Ranked NFL Superstar KO Exhibition mode in 2v2 and 3v3, with real NFL rosters is MISSING and has been missing from the game since probably 2011, when the position groups could earn experience and 'level up' their position based on achievements in the game. I am not saying that was the best option, because it often times lead to unbalanced gameplay, but even then, it didn't feel as unbalanced as trying to go into a MUT squad game today.
EA - people will still play MUT, they will still spend money, you will still make millions of dollars, and that girl (or guy) will still sit on your lap on the yacht and feed you chocolate covered strawberries!
It will cost you almost nothing to build a ranked version of a mode that already exists - just track my wins and losses and how many times somebody quits! You already track the game stats with the Season pass, and give out badges for accomplishments, why can't we just put some extra skin in the game with a leaderboard and some ranked scores. We have to manually track our wins and losses. All we are asking for is a way to gauge the level of our opponent and get rewarded for winning.
Please, please make a ranked version of NFL Exhibition Superstar KO 2v2 and 3v3 with current NFL rosters.
