Where is the equality

Whenever I play in arena mode against an opponent who is 200-300 power better than me it is a very tough match. I struggle to get down the field and get touchdowns and 2 point conversions. However when I face an opponent who is 200-300 power less than me than seem to do just fine because in a match I just played I lost to them because they somehow score 3 touchdowns with the 2 point conversion while I only scored 2 touchdowns with the 2 point conversion. No admittedly I could have called a better play on the 4th down and 3 I had the first drive but my defense overall is 113 and his offense overall was 105 so I'm sorry you should not be scoring 24 points that just doesn't make sense. I'm hard pressed to score 3 touchdowns much less the 2 point conversions. So where is the equality why is it not equal if I face decently better opponents there team does great and my team doesn't do good but when I face an opponent I'm decently better there team seems to still do just fine. So is it just me and the way I play or what.
