Button Scheme Not Working On PC

I'm playing on the ROG Ally X. I'm playing with a HORIPAD Steam Controller which was working fine and having no issues until a couple of months ago. It took some kind of update now the game is forcing the PlayStation controller scheme. My controller doesn't have glyphs like square and circle. Once I press any button to enter the main menu it turns from A,B,X,Y buttons to PlayStation face buttons. Also the commands don't work. If i try to use the B button which would be the circle which is used to "go back" it doesn't work. Is there any way this can be fixed? PLEASE?!?

One more weird thing. If I unhook the unit from my TV and disconnect the controller and play with the local buttons on the ROG Ally X itself. They work fine. This is really driving me bananas. As I stated before, a couple of months ago, everything was working just fine.
