Editing Player Traits OUTSIDE of Franchise

Can you please make it so that we are able to edit PLAYER TRAITS from the main menu, so that we can save rosters that have player traits edited? We are currently only able to edit player traits from within Franchise mode, meaning we have to re-edit these traits every time we start a new franchise. It would be a great quality of life improvement if you made it so that we could edit player traits from the main menu. Then we could use these edited players in other game modes besides franchise as well.
