Online Franchise Co-Op
Dear Madden Development Team, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and confusion over the continued lack of online same-team franchise co-op in Madden. For years, my friends and I have wanted to play together on the same team in Franchise Mode online, each controlling our own created players, playing against the CPU in a season-long franchise. This feature is fully possible locally on the same console, but for some reason, it has never been implemented online, despite the clear demand and technological feasibility. There is no reason why this cannot be done. Many other sports games allow online cooperative play in franchise or career modes, and Madden’s continued omission of this feature feels like a fundamental misunderstanding of your fan base’s desires. I have been a loyal Madden player since the 1990s, but I have stopped purchasing Madden in recent years because of this missing feature and the general disconnect between the game and the community’s needs. It is frustrating to see incremental updates each year while critical, community-building features like online franchise co-op are ignored. Imagine the potential: Friends controlling themselves as QB, RB, WR, etc., on the same team online in Franchise Mode against CPU opponents. Creating and building stories with our players season after season, competing cooperatively rather than just head-to-head. Increasing engagement and long-term retention from groups of friends who want to enjoy Madden together without forced solo or adversarial play. It blows my mind that in 2025, Madden still does not allow this, and I am asking you to prioritize this feature for Madden NFL 26 and beyond. Until this feature is implemented, I refuse to purchase Madden again. I hope this feedback is taken seriously by your team, as it represents a real opportunity to reconnect with long-time Madden fans who want to enjoy your game with their friends in a meaningful, community-building way. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Disappointed, Lifelong Madden FanMadden 26 Companion App Release Date
Hello, When is the expected release date for the companion app for Madden 26? Last year, it was nearly a month after the Madden release. I am a third-party developer that relies on the companion app. Knowing the release ahead of time would help me schedule around the release date to work on my application. I appreciate any information you can provide. Best, JoshMadden league for madden 26
I am starting a madden league in madden 26 and will be giving out $50 for superbowl winner the first year. There will be a spin the wheel for team selection besides 2 team that are the lions and commanders which are both admins. Must have discord give, send your discord if interested and looking for comp players and people to play league long term. Soon as discord is full i will start the spin the wheelDepth Charts
Please tell me for the love of god that you guys have quit messing with the depth charts in 2026? Meaning, stop switching them in preseason games after the 1st quarter in game 1, 2nd quarter in game 2, and sure enough 3rd quarter of game 3!! And when there is and injury and they player is placed back in the lineup, other positions change. Why? Please let us control the depth chart! I know franchise mode isn’t your guys favorite but some of us still play it. Thanks for all of your love and support!🤦🏻Madden Franchise Coop
It would be incredibly easy for EA to bring back the co-op feature in Madden franchise mode, especially considering it was already a staple in past versions of the game. The core mechanics—multiple users managing teams, drafting, trading, and playing games together—are already built into online franchises. Adding local or online co-op for users to control the same team or play side-by-side in a franchise would simply build on existing functionality. Not only would it enhance the gameplay experience, but it would also make the mode way more enjoyable and social. Friends could rebuild struggling franchises together, take on dynamic storylines as a coaching duo, or just have fun competing cooperatively, which adds a whole new layer of immersion. The fact that it hasn’t been reintroduced yet feels like a missed opportunity to make the game more fun, engaging, and replayable.Rookie Premiere Transfer Between Consoles
With presumably a handful of players switching from playing on Xbox or PS5 to Nintendo Switch 2, now is the perfect time to allow cross platform Rookie Premiere transfer. Considering our data is linked to our EA accounts, my suggestion is granting earned Rookie Premiere cards to whichever console accesses Madden NFL 26 first. If I earned my cards in Madden NFL 25 on PlayStation 5, I should be able to login to my EA account to play Madden NFL 26 on Nintendo Switch 2 and receive my Rookie Premiere cards on that console. I implore the developers to make this happen, as there are likely dozens of players such as myself considering switching to a portable console, but don't want to miss out on the rewards we worked so hard for in Madden NFL 25. Thank you.27Views0likes0CommentsSalary Cap in Connected Franchise Mode
EA Admins, can you let us know if you've fixed the bug with the Salary cap for CFM in Madden? For the last 2 maddens the salary stops increasing at 315 million total per team even though salaries continue to increase. In real-life, salary goes up 10-20 million per year to account for QBS and other skill positions constantly resetting the market however after year 3 in CFM it just stops going up.Madden 26 Needs to Be Better Than Ever
Let’s be honest — Madden 25 was a major disappointment. Every year, fans get hyped up from trailers and promises, and every year the final product feels like a letdown. The truth is, EA Sports has all the tools and potential to make a game that truly represents the NFL and gives players something special. But they don’t. And that’s why Madden 26 absolutely has to be better than every Madden before it — not just for sales, but for the community that’s been holding on with hope for years. Let’s start with graphics. This game needs to look next-gen. Look at Forza Horizon 5 — everything in that game looks real. Madden should be the same. Stadiums should feel alive, weather should impact the game visually and physically, and player faces need to look exactly like the real-life players. No more generic models or missing likenesses. On top of that, give every team more alternate jersey colors — fans love repping their squad in throwbacks or custom colorways, and it makes the game more personal. Gameplay has to be completely overhauled. Right now, it feels more like an arcade game than an NFL simulation. Linebackers shouldn’t be jumping 6 feet in the air for one-handed picks, and offensive linemen need to actually block. Give us smarter O-line AI that can recognize blitzes, pick up blocks, and hold them long enough to let the quarterback or running back make a play. Make it feel like real football. And this time, the game cannot be pay-to-win. Ultimate Team is fun, but people shouldn’t have to drop hundreds of dollars just to be competitive. Let players grind and earn without feeling left behind. We’ve had six straight Maddens that felt almost the same — that’s not just lazy, it’s disrespectful to the fans who keep showing up. Madden 26 also needs to bring energy back to the field. Add new and fun celebration dances when teams get a first down or touchdown. Make them funny but tough — like how the players really celebrate on Sundays. It’s those small moments that make games memorable. Even pre-game intros should show off star players, highlight rivalries, or showcase big plays from earlier in the season. These little details bring the game to life. And don’t forget the legends. Why have we gone years without players like Brett Favre, Bart Starr, Jay Cutler, or Eddie Lacy? Fans love all-time teams. It’s part of football history, and when you ignore that, you’re ignoring the heart of the sport. To the developers: we’re not asking for miracles — we’re asking for effort. Listen to the community. Don’t shortchange us again. If Madden 26 isn’t something special, I honestly might never buy another Madden. You’ve got one more shot to make it right. Make it count.
