You have completely destroyed franchise mode. Not being able to be an owner is a huge loss. Not everyone playing wants to be a coach. Then, the coach tree looks like rocket science, wtf is it? No tutorial on the coach tree at all.
You need to patch this back to the old franchise.
I was disappointed that owner mode is gone, but I'm going to roll with it. I played a couple games last night and enjoyed being a coach for a change.
No owner mode? Tell me that isn't gone. WTF would they take that out? Can you still draft? Sign players? Who makes stadium changes? Do you have to call all the plays? Is there CPU vs CPU?
Owner Mode is gone. You still control the scouting, drafting, and signing of players, and on the field you call all the plays, but the stadium stuff is all gone. It's a complete downer, but the gameplay is improved over last year's game, There are some other features missing that annoy me more - no Lambeau Leap, stadium visual features missing (rings of honor, new scoreboards, etc), and no AWS stat overlays, which they had back in Madden 21, but they got rid of all those as well. They continue to shoot themselves in the foot every year. IMHO, the last truly innovative Madden games were Madden 2004 and 2005 - back when they had legitimate competition with the ESPN franchise and there was no exclusive license.
So if you want change head coaches you can’t? If I wanted to hire a fired head coach to replace the coach I have you cant now? If I wanted to hire Mcvay if he is fired you are just stuck with Pete Carroll ?
You can only hire/fire OC, DC, and Trainer. You can also hire/fire scouts as always, but you either make your own coach or use an existing coach.
Man....I can't believe I'm reading this right now. Good thing I got a heads up before testing franchise. Pretty disappointing, but to be fair, it wasn't that great and really needed an overhaul despite being enjoyable overall. Hopefully that's what they're doing, that they're just giving it an overhaul and will add it back into the game next year. I've always loved owner mode though, and it's been my average go to option when doing offline franchises.

Yeah, apparently it only triggers if you are controlling the player when they score. I run coach mode, so I never have control of the players. Seems dumb you can't edit the celebrations in a menu or something so they'll just automatically do it instead of having to run to a "specific celebration zone". I am so sick of the "Row Boat" and the stupid "Gritty" I want to shut off celebrations completely.

Too many cheap comebacks by the CPU. The human player if they get a lead by more than 7, the human player all of a sudden can’t run or pass or stop the CPU. It makes the game not fun. Adjusted the sliders and no change. Fix this. This game isn’t fun. Don’t need to win but fair play is key.
