Madden 26 on switch 2

Why am I possibly getting a 5 second delay when trying to click a play in 50% of my games? I'm always forced to take the L after it happens. I only play switch 2 because I got the switch for free. It's getting f**** **bleep** and I wanna know whys it doing and how to stop the delay before I give up playing the game in general. I highly it's my Internet every other game works fine.
