Madden 27 Franchise Wishlist

To the Madden 27 development team,

Please consider making Madden 27 a bigger, deeper, and more realistic football experience. Franchise mode has huge potential, and these additions would make the game feel more immersive, more authentic, and more rewarding for long-term players.

Franchise and GM features

Please add a proper GM office where players can display and view rings, trophies, and championship banners. That would make franchise mode feel like a real front office experience and help celebrate team history.

I also want the ability to fire my manager or coaching staff when I am controlling the franchise as a GM. If I am running the team, I should have full authority over staff decisions.

Coaching and sideline realism

Please add defensive coaches and special teams coaches on the sidelines so the game looks and feels more complete.

When creating a coach, players should be able to equip realistic gear such as earphones, headsets, and play cards/pads so custom coaches look like real NFL staff.

Crowd and stadium atmosphere

Fans should feel much more alive. Please make them wear current and classic player jerseys, team shirts, and other team gear. It would also be great if fans could create signs for star players and participate in real chants based on what is happening in the game.

Please add more city-specific game-day culture too, like tailgates, cookouts, and other traditions that make each stadium feel unique.

Weather and field wear

Weather should be more dynamic. If rain starts during a game, it should be able to come and go naturally instead of staying the same all game. The field should also show real wear and tear over time so it does not always look brand new.

Gameplay and contact

Please improve collision physics so big hits can feel more realistic. On rare occasions, tackles could cause helmets to come off or shoulder pads to shift, which would add more intensity to the action.

Broadcast and halftime presentation

Halftime shows should include highlights from all around the league, not just a few teams. The Super Bowl presentation also needs to feel bigger, with a full celebration, parade sequence, and a recap video showing the best offensive and defensive plays from the game.

Rivalries and fan energy

Big rivalry games should feel more heated. Please add more sideline scuffles, fan intensity, and emotional reactions in important matchups.

Fans should also react more naturally, create signs for popular players, and feel like a real part of the game environment.

Scheduling and game watching

Please add an option to watch other games during a season or playoff run. That would make the league feel more connected and alive.

Game timing also needs to be more accurate so games are not played out of order compared to their scheduled start times.

Celebrations and player personality

Please reduce unrealistic touchdown celebrations for players who do not act that way in real life. Celebrations should reflect the actual personality of the player more closely.

Merchandise, tickets, and endorsements

A better team store would be a great addition. Let players control ticket prices and merchandise pricing so franchise management feels deeper.

Endorsement deals should also matter more, based on player popularity, team success, and market size.

Practice mode

Practice mode should be expanded. Let players choose 25 or 35 players to practice with, and allow offensive and defensive coordinators to automatically focus training on weak areas.
