I want to agree with you... I do. But I can't. I enjoy making people pack it in.
That said, quitting is getting worse - not better. Just in the last few weeks, I've had two opponents quit a 3-0 game in the 1st quarter. In both games, I got a stop in the red-zone and my offense stalled out in FG range - so I kicked for the points. Then - BLAP! The connection to your peer has been lost. I've never had two people quit a 3-0 game before - and I've been playing Madden online for 23 years - in that time I've quit exactly 5 games, usually for an outside emergency circumstance. I NEVER QUIT because I'm losing...
Once upon a time, online players had a DNF% that was publicly displayed BEFORE the game started... If a player had a record of 90-10 with a 10% DNF, I already know that he quits every game when he starts losing. If a player is 0-5 with a 100% DNF, I know he's gonna quit. Back then people used the DNF% to decide if they even wanted to play a quitter or not. I mostly chose NOT.
So here's the problem... That quitter paid for the game too. If they can't find games because they quit too much, the likelyhood that they will buy the game the next year is reduced.
EA needs quitter money, so the DNF% disappeared. Now, without the DNF% displayed publicly - and with no information about our opponents before the game - we have no idea if our opponents will quit or not.
But that's not the focus... WE WANT THEM TO QUIT. Then we want them to run, not walk, to the nearest message board to whine and cry about how EA is a horrible company that makes a horrible game. When they do, I go wherever they are and WHOOP them again when they seek validation.
Making people quit is better than simply winning... if you're an MMA fan, think of it as a submission victory.

I get what you saying but I enjoy giving belt to **bleep** so if I can drop 50 or 60 points on someone because we played the full game I rather do that then just play 1 quarter and end a game because I scored on 1 drive

TRUTH! Here's the flip of that... I once played Madden NFL 2005 against a guy that used the Raiders.
He scored 84 points.
That's the most anyone has EVER scored against me in my history of playing Madden. Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, PS1, 2, 3, 4, 5. EVER. The question is...
How many points would someone have to score before YOU quit?
I don't know... but it's more than 84.
😆🤣😂

Ok I understand your perspective 84 is extreme but 84 to what if end was 84-60 ish still decent game but 84 to low 20s yea but no I'm talking about people quitting because the threw a pick or just because your up by 1 td first quarter that's insane
