Tendency Counter

Hello everyone. I have searched for an answer on this, but haven't found one yet. Can anyone explain to me what a tendency counter is and how to use it? I am aware that the trophy for it seems to not be working, but beyond that, I don't even know what it is or how it's used. Any solid information would be greatly appreciated.

Following the thread because I want to know as well. This feature has seemingly vanished from the game over the past two years, but there's still a trophy related to it? Makes no sense

Been looking for this too.
Of course it was "promoted" to be in the game, but I've yet to see it anywhere
