Unable to Preload
Is there a chance that somebody who can DO something will actually post an answer as to WHY the pre-load doesn't work? It would be great if EA or MS actually used people to fix things.

The issue seems to be the same one from last year. Even when you download via the app, the game has the triangle message indicating that the user doesn't own it. In 2024, the message disappeared prior to release, but it hasn't yet this year. I've still got it at 12:20 p.m., which is within a 12-hour window of the game's release. Hopefully, it'll clear up in a few hours.
This is an issue EA needs to address, though, in that it discourages pre-orders. I realize that a lot of what this forum can and can't do is variable, but messing with the money should get someone's attention.
