Xbox and Switch controls

I’d love it if EA let us edit the controls so that moving between consoles it would be the same .  I’ve tried to edit controls at the system level but it doesn’t matter in game as some specific controls will remain different .  Just let us customize the layout in game ..it sure would make it convenient.  How hard can that addition be?
