Pre-ordered Madden 26 Deluxe on Steam. Every time I go to launch it via Steam or EA app, I get the splash screen then a black screen and then an error citing directx. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, updated windows, updated EA app, restarted my laptop, updated nvidia, ran as administrator, nothing works. I’ve never had this much trouble and all my other games work fine. Please help. I’ve been trying to fix this for hours.
Im having the same issue. Just boughjt today and It wont load up when i click play. Any fix?
I don't even get an error code or anything it just closes after the splash screen when I try and launch it from steam or the ea app
We are having this same issue. Direct X, drivers, Visual C++ all up to date.
Uninstall EA app and then reinstall
I've tried that 3 times now, no dice. Everything up to date, reboots, secure boot enabled, clean installs of both the game and EA app, mix all of the above and more and repeat a few times and it just keeps crashing. The fact that we're seeing such a large variety of fixes across so many people screams that dozens of things are all giving the same crash behavior and it's clear we still haven't found every cause.
im having the same issue. the amount of different things ive tried to get this game to work is criminal. ive been on youtube and google and ea forums for the past week trying to figure this out. I bought the deluxe version from gamestop so I cant even ask for a refund. im literally stuck with $100 game and cant do anything with it. EA couldnt care less. I have tried everything under the sun. added things/deleted things to my pc. ive even unistalled norton antivirus. literally nothing works. its bull**bleep**
