Audible Formations Locked w/ shapeshifter in lineup

I couldn’t Audible formations and tried deleting my cache at the PS5 settings level as well as reset all of my custom audibles. Of course that was after switching play books and doing all of the common sense things I could think of. 

Turns out if you have your Shapeshifter in your lineup at any position then audible’s are locked and you can’t switch formations. Is this by design? Guessing no. Please fix.
