I do see where you're coming from and you are very correct. I stepped away from Madden for over ten years, came back a month ago and found MUT fun again until now. After reading about the issues that have been going on for years I can't believe they are still getting away with this. This game is nearly 100% dependant on the Internet and servers just to play. Wether you buy a disc or not playing 80% of this game requires access to the servers. No where have I read that EA has been held accountable for lost transactions or downtime while still accepting transactions.
One problem can be aimed at the streamers. How? Simply put, some get reimbursed by EA and sponsors to help generate views and revenue. Myself, I don't watch streamers so they don't get views from their sponsors from me, but for the masses that watch in the background while doing something else, they generate traffic and sponsors pay. So in theory one way to hit their wallets as well is to stop watching streamers of EA Madden and as the counts go down the influencers will move on to another game to generate income.
