Season 8 crashing

My game is stuck on version 1.0.0.133 and keeps displaying season 7 on main screen, consequently, I keep getting kicked from UT game mode with server error message, even though Ive already completed all the season 8 challenges.  Nothing has worked.  Ive uninstalled/installed, console reset, and about twelve other things.  Still bugged.  WTF!!   Can ANYONE explain how to fix this?
