Draft event makes my player slower even online.

I have a 50/20 packers jags theme team freshly went 20 jags bc of Jalen Ramsey and Travis hunters cards but to get to the point on 20/20 jags theme team Jalen Ramsey has 99 speed the fastest possible in the game. Somehow someway my opponent’s 94 overall Victor Cruz was able to beat him on a streak and not only did he catch the ball but he didn’t catch it in the end zone it was a smooth 35 yards of straight line running of me watching my 99 speed Jalen Ramsey fail to catch a MAXIMUM 98 SPEED Victor Cruz. The card itself is base 94 speed so if bro had a giants theme team and crystals and Xavier worthy then ok cool maybe 98 speed. But let’s be serious… so can someone explain why my 99 speed dbs are jogging on the field because I don’t understand why I spent coins on cards if they don’t play what they’re stats say I could just go get 95 overalls everywhere
