Got 3rd place and the reward was 10k? Was this really the reward? Seen people who got 1st place get 5k coins but others get champions. What's going on?

Same issue here, I got 2nd place, game froze during rewward opening and when I came back, I found a 10k coin card in binder. Such a shame. Totally unbalanced groups. 1st in my group was 56k+ points, I got 2nd with ~49k and 5th and below were all less than 10k. Saw some other groups only needed 10k to get 1st. Then, a complete slap in the face to get 49k points for 10k coins! common!
I got 500 coins for 3rd place
