Kicking (Classic Madden Meter)

I've got "Classic Madden Meter" -> "Tap and Hold" in my Settings, but (so far) all PATs and Kickoffs/Punts in various game modes (SOLO -- I'm not playing Competitive).

 

What am I missing? I'd like to set up M26 to use the Classic Madden Meter. Is this setting bugged or is something else overriding the setting? I have a sneaking suspicion that the devs will start adding "Kick 50 Extra Points" sometime soon, and I have yet to get a good PAT. I finally gave up and just started going for 2 after every touchdown.

I'm using M26 on X-Box Series X ...

    Paragraph 1 should have ended -- ... Competitive) and all Kicking has used the Multi-Meter style which is required for Competitive mode, but I'm playing solo games vs CPU.

    Same I set it for classic yet am forced to use this confusing nonsense Meter plz adjust this its making me not want to play anymore already

    The classic Madden meter is for Franchise Mode only. To be completely honest, I'm  not a fan of the new kicking meter myself.
