Ultimate Team completely unresponsive on Xbox (can’t click or access)

Question

I’m playing Madden 26 on Xbox and as of today I cannot access Ultimate Team at all.

The Ultimate Team option is completely unresponsive — I can’t hover over it or click it. Other game modes and menus work fine, but Ultimate Team is not selectable in any way.

I’ve already tried:

- Restarting the game

- Restarting my Xbox

- Reconnecting my internet

Nothing fixed the issue.

EA Support told me this may be a “merging issue” and that other players are experiencing this as well. It sounds like an account or server-side problem, not a local issue.

Platform: Xbox

Is anyone else experiencing this? Would appreciate any updates from EA on this.

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. I'd like to make sure you're properly power cycling your equipment. Please follow these steps:

Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
Power it all up and try playing again

If that doesn't help, try clearing the personal saved data. Here are those instructions:

Hit the Guide button on your controller
Highlight the Madden 26 icon
Hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the guide button with the 3 horizontal lines on it
Choose Manage game &amp; add ons
Go to Saved data
Delete the file with your gamertag on it

Something else that may help is clearing local saves. Help with that is in this article under 'Free up hard drive space'
