Ultimate Team completely unresponsive on Xbox (can’t click or access)
I’m playing Madden 26 on Xbox and as of today I cannot access Ultimate Team at all.
The Ultimate Team option is completely unresponsive — I can’t hover over it or click it. Other game modes and menus work fine, but Ultimate Team is not selectable in any way.
I’ve already tried:
- Restarting the game
- Restarting my Xbox
- Reconnecting my internet
Nothing fixed the issue.
EA Support told me this may be a “merging issue” and that other players are experiencing this as well. It sounds like an account or server-side problem, not a local issue.

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. I'd like to make sure you're properly power cycling your equipment. Please follow these steps:
- Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
- Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
- Power it all up and try playing again
If that doesn't help, try clearing the personal saved data. Here are those instructions:- Hit the Guide button on your controller
- Highlight the Madden 26 icon
- Hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the guide button with the 3 horizontal lines on it
- Choose Manage game & add ons
- Go to Saved data
- Delete the file with your gamertag on it
