Created Player not showing up in Franchise mode.

When I create a player and add him to my teams roster in Franchise mode after I play one game the player disappears from the roster.... Yes I already uninstalled and reinstalled the game šŸ™„. Yes I already rebuilt my PS5 database and cleared the cache. The issue still persists šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø what's the point of paying extra money to have the game in advanced if your not going to give us a complete product???? Now let me guess we have to wait a full week for the actual release date before you actually deploy a patch for this šŸ˜‘.

    This issue should be resolved in today's patch. Please note that the fix applies only to newly created Franchises after the update. It will not retroactively fix existing Franchises. Thank you. EA_Barry.

    Iā€™m on PlayStation 5. When I create a player and put him on the team and start a franchise the player is able to play one game but after disappears from the roster all together. Also I can not edit anything like his persona, uniform number ect.. I created a QB. My PSN is KOSDFT

    My initial thought is that franchise attempts to reload the ā€œMaddenā€ roster over my created roster. Thatā€™s just an educated guess though haha

    Hi everyone, 

    Thanks for the heads-up on the players disappearing from your roster. When you have the chance, can you share a bit more details so we can pass this along for a look? 

    • Which platform are you playing on?
    • What is your Xbox Gamertag, PSN ID, EA Account ID, Steam ID, Epic ID, or Nintendo ID?
    • What position was the player you created? 
    • Are you using a roster imported from the Team Builder?


    Any other details you can share will be helpful. Thank you!

    same issue. I noticed a created player has a contract of 0 years to start in franchise mode. I tried editing the player and the edits don't save, no matter what I try.
