Infinite Salary Cap Still Not Working

In the contract negotiation menu, the top right says that salary cap is OFF, but when changing the yearly salary amount, it caps at whatever salary cap you have left.

If you don’t have any cap space, the yearly salary option is greyed out, and when submitting, the player treats it as if you made the default negotiation the game gives you to start.

I tried explaining it to the best of my ability but I am not the greatest with words.
