Madden 27 and 26 Hard Freezes my entire PC
When I get home, I can post my computer specs, but just for clarity, too, College Football 27 works like a dream on my PC. Not even as much as a lag or stutter at any point in my 100+ hours so far.
Madden 27 (and I later tested Madden 26 through EA Play) hard freezes my entire PC to the point I have to full hard restart it. Can't task manager, cant close out of Madden, whole system freezes.
I for the life of me can't find another instance where someone has dealt with this full hard freeze. Maybe a crash but not a full system lock up.
I tried reinstalling Anti Cheat, verifying files on Steam, reinstalling, lowering settings in game. borderless windows. I installed a new bios on my motherboard so its completely updated, reinstalled drivers and still randomly, in menus and in game it will freeze within 5-7 minutes of the game starting up.
The fact I can run CFB27 and games like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 on max settings, I'm confident my machine has the baseline to run this game (i realize a certain part/brand might be an issue specifically for madden maybe, but if theres no issue with CFB27 seems weird it wouldnt work with Madden).
