Madden h2h online kicked out mid game all the time

I’m having a really frustrating issue with Madden 27 on PS5. I keep getting kicked out of online Head-to-Head games during the match. Some games work normally, but other games randomly disconnect and kick me out.

I’m using an Ethernet cable and have NAT Type 2, so my internet connection seems fine. I also had no issues like this when playing Madden 26 on the exact same setup. This problem only started with Madden 27.

It’s extremely frustrating because I can be playing a full game normally and then suddenly get disconnected and receive a loss. I’ve already tried restarting the PS5/router, reinstalling the game, and using Ethernet, but the issue still happens.

Is EA aware of this issue, and are other players experiencing the same H2H disconnect problem? Hopefully this can be investigated and fixed soon because it’s making online H2H almost impossible to play consistently.

    Its the exact same error for me and it keeps happening every day i try to play this game

    Man me too! Everytime in the middle of the game I get disconnected. I’m supposed to be 15-3. I’m literally 15-11. I have 8 disconnects TODAY!!

    Me too. not only that but sometimes even when I won games normally it just won’t give me the win. Should be 16-4 but instead am 14-9.
