Ok, I am not getting anywhere with this on the forums, so I am going to try Twitter X. If you want to actually do something about EA ignoring this issue, find me there, if you want to keep complaining and do nothing, this seems like a good place for you.

They are denying this is an issue. The last person I talked to at EA ended the chat when I sent him this:

Been having this issue as well on my Xbox series x. I just got my Xbox professionally deep cleaned and still will overheat instantly when I play a game. How can a company that makes billions and cant address this fix? Only thing playable is franchise mode if i dont jump into any gameplay lol. What a joke
I find it hilarious they’re trying to have you troubleshoot the game for them by going through these steps that QA should’ve taken. Aren’t people getting sick and tired of jumping through hoops defending/rationalizing for this company?
My game just locked up right before halftime and froze my entire PC. EA owes the people refunds if they aren't willing to fix this issue.
No Keef0927 it did not. EpiCz_Izzy fired it up on PC and it crashed at halftime. But the good news is that EA nor any of the moderators have even mentioned this issue. I just got off a chat with EA and for a minute he tried to act like they weren't aware of the issue. That didn't go so well for him. It is unbelievable how little accountability this company will take. He even tried to blame it on our hardware...Like 10 minutes ago. I am not kidding. Then he asked me to take a screenshot of it happening and I refused to start the game until this issue is resolved, he then transferred me to another rep who did pretty much the same thing. They are trying to pretend this isn't really an issue. The disclaimer is no longer on the EA help webpage stating they are "investigating the issue". This is BAD. I don't think they are going to fix this. I think by fixing it, they are admitting fault, and considering what happened to ArtfulRunner82 they are probably going to hope we just stop talking about it. I really hope I am wrong, but I don't think I am.

Seriously EA, take accountability for what has happened. Stop saying you are "investigating" the issue and just be honest, for once. If you don't know how to fix it yet, just tell us that. We will be annoyed, but we will at least appreciate your transparency. At some point you will HAVE to address this issue, whether you do it on your own, or someone makes you, but it will happen, that I can promise you.
If that was for me I did only because I know Xbox guarantees refunds under certain criteria. I wanted to see if EA finally delivered but it’s the same ol song and dance. Microsoft refunded after I complained about the broken franchise.
