Team Builder [Error 105]

It's hard to fathom how this 105 error (submissions stuck on Compositing Uniforms) is allowed to continue without any statement from EA at least acknowledging that a fix is being worked on. It's been 5 full days of zero access to submitting Team Builder teams and it's just been crickets from EA. You all are the insiders, so I know YOU know the amount of hours that go into uniforms, stadiums and rosters. And when you do that for multiple teams, you have days worth of hours that have been spent getting things set up for the particular football universe you want to build. To be hit with in the final stage with this same, recurring error, with no communication from EA, and no acknowledgment that you're aware of the situation and actively trying to fix it is beyond frustrating. The same thing is happening currently in CFB 27. I bet many of us who are trying to access these features are MVP+ members. And for what?? Come on, guys. Please, get it together. Figure this out and fix it!

The studio team confirmed that this issue was resolved. They had looked into it, made some changes, and tested it.

If the error persists in a browser, clear the browser cache. If you are in-game and trying to import, the steps you could take would depend on the platform you are on.

At the moment, though, if you get the error, do not use any special characters or periods. Do not choose teams that have a period. 

These are the specific things that have been related to that error, but are related to Error 400. 

Unfortunately, Error 105 is not resolved for me as of September 15.

I followed the troubleshooting instructions in this thread. I deleted the on-device site data for both ea.com and www.ea.com, completely quit Chrome, reopened it, signed back into TeamBuilder, and attempted to submit again. I still received Error 105.

I then cleared Chrome's Cached Images and Files for All Time, completely quit and restarted Chrome again, signed back in, and attempted another submission. Error 105 still persists.

I have also previously tested TeamBuilder using Incognito mode and a completely different browser, with the same Error 105 result.

For additional context, I created 12 Madden 27 TeamBuilder teams using the same account and workflow. Ten of those teams submitted successfully before this problem began. The final two now consistently fail during Compositing Uniforms with Error 105. I even removed some custom uniform assets from one of the affected teams as a test, with no change.

I made no changes to the team between these most recent submission attempts, so the same team that failed before clearing the cache continues to fail afterward.

Also, during this same period, the Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour brand-selection options disappeared from TeamBuilder, including when I open teams that had previously submitted successfully.

Since I have now reproduced Error 105 after clearing EA site data, clearing the full Chrome cache, restarting the browser, using Incognito, and using another browser entirely, could this please be re-escalated to the studio or TeamBuilder team?

I am happy to provide screenshots or any additional information that would help diagnose it.

I just tried one more time. Cleared Cache on Team Builder website. Error 105. Cleared cache on Google Chrome. Error 105. Used a completely different browser. Error 105. Double checked and removed all - marks and made sure there was no punctuation anywhere. Error 105. Before last Friday, I had 10 Team Builder teams that were successfully submitted. My last two since their creation on Friday have failed over a dozen times, trying all the methods you suggest. And I didn't do anything especially different in these last two teams than I did with the first 10. Same process for all 12. So... I don't think this is on my end. Can you please check again? Can you force submit my last two teams from your end? This is really frustrating...

Broncos6969​ Gotcha, so with that error, we go by what the report says, so there isn't anything I can go check. If everything that was tried did not work, and then you go into Cognito mode, a different browser, or a different device, I take that info, and I update the report. Cms have no hand in trying to fix it other than trying different steps to see what does and does not work, and if it does not, we report that back to the studio team.

If incognito mode did not work, log out of your Chrome profile, log in to a guest account with no data import or syncing, and test it. Let me know if that gives the same error.

I did more digging into this, but also updated the team on what did not work for you. Since you've already knocked out the standard browser troubleshooting, this usually points to the cloud rendering engine getting hung up on a specific graphic asset or uniform template during the compile stage.

Here are a few community-tested workarounds that have helped other creators get their teams to submit:

• Toggle Apparel Brands - In the Uniform tab, switch your brand away from Adidas to Nike or Under Armour - An active template conflict with specific Adidas uniform presets is known to cause the compositing engine to timeout.
• Check Pants Stripe Overlays - If you placed a custom uploaded logo over a stock pants stripe, remove the stock stripe - The server-side renderer frequently crashes when an uploaded PNG overlaps a native vector leg stripe.
• Resize PNGs to 1024x1024 - Re-save your uploaded custom logos onto a transparent 1024x1024 pixel canvas and re-upload them - Non-standard resolutions or oversized transparent PNGs can cause the asset compiler to hang.
• Drop Down to Home/Away Only - Temporarily remove custom Alternate uniforms and submit with just your primary Home and Away sets - Reducing the total uniform layers keeps the job under the cloud server's strict timeout limit.
• Test Submit on Mobile Data - Open the Team Builder web portal on your phone browser using mobile data and hit submit - This bypasses local WebGL browser rendering conflicts and home network packet drops during the upload handshake.
  
  

Give toggling the apparel brand and checking for overlapping leg stripes a shot first, and let me know if that pushes the submission through!

One important issue with the first workaround you suggested: I am no longer able to toggle apparel brands.

The Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour options have completely disappeared from my TeamBuilder interface. Those options were previously available to me under the Brand section, but they are no longer there.

I also checked teams that I successfully submitted before Error 105 started occurring, and the apparel brand options have disappeared from those teams as well. So unfortunately I am unable to test switching from Adidas to Nike or Under Armour.

Is the disappearance of the apparel brand options a known issue? Could that possibly be related to the current submission and compositing problem?

I will try the pants stripe and Home/Away-only suggestions next and report back with the results.

Broncos6969​ You are welcome. I am trying to dig into this error as it was resolved for CFB, so when Madden gets it too, it could be the same issue just a site thing but I honestly do not know yet. I am trying to locate more folks who report it but there does not seem to be a lot of them. I can use Reddit posts, but not to send a report. They have to be on here.
