Xbox Hard Crashes to Dashboard & Desyncs in Online Franchise

Hi EA Team,

I am experiencing frequent crashes to the Xbox Dashboard during H2H Online Franchise matches. While my connection is stable (175 Mbps VDSL, LAN, Quick Resume OFF), the game randomly closes while my opponent stays in-game.

Through testing, we identified that these crashes and desyncs are triggered by standard game mechanics: using "Chew Clock" and making in-game substitutions (even without custom playbooks).
This is a severe client-side/P2P memory bug in the Madden Xbox engine. It ruins competitive league play and results in unfair losses.
Please escalate this issue to the dev team to patch these crash triggers as soon as possible.

Best regards,

  • would like to add an important technical observation:

These live match desyncs and hard crashes to the Xbox dashboard seem to be directly linked to the server-side adjustments made to the Weekly Hub and Weekly Recap scripting.

While the Weekly Hub feature is visually nice to look at, it is ultimately unnecessary for core Franchise gameplay - especially if it compromises match stability. When triggering live state changes during a Head-to-Head match (such as Chew Clock or in-game substitutions), the game engine attempts to reconcile these local memory states with the Franchise server protocols. It appears that the recent updates to the Franchise Hub framework created a memory and state mismatch on the Xbox architecture, causing immediate P2P desyncs or crashing the application entirely.

Please forward this specific Franchise Hub and Live State sync correlation to the dev team for investigation.
