4k LG TV - Madden 19 - Weird Issue
Hello. I am playing the PC version through Origin Premier from my PC to an LG UHD 4k TV thru HDMI. I have 3 monitors total, but I turn one off and Windows+P to second monitor only (which is the TV)
Game starts fine, can play the game fine, but when I exit, it essentially turns off that path to that monitor from my pc. From the TV I can not do anything, it only displays Dolby Vision on the top right corner. I can not get to task manager. I can do Windows+P and switch to my main monitor and open Madden and play just fine in 1080p.
All other inputs work on the TV. The HDMI input works fine with other things like a playstation. I have tried unplugging and plugging the HDMI.
The only way I can get that TV to work with my PC again is by restarting.
I updated the nvidia drivers. I reset all the graphics settings. Still same issue.
I play on the TV all the time, Battlefield, Battlefront, FIFA, etc. All have no issues with 4k.
This is a very weird issue, one i have never encountered on any game before, or program. Its some sort of a bug, but im not sure if anyone else has seen this and figured out a fix? Maybe its a problem with the game that that EA would need to patch?
If anyone knows anything let me know. Thanks.
