Can’t activate superstar abilities in ultimate team

Product: Madden NFL 21
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which console generation do you have? PlayStation 4
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? N1kolai21
Date/time issue occurred All the time
What type of issue do you have? Crash/Freeze
Which mode has this happened in? Ultimate Team
Which part of the mode? MUT Squads
Summarize your bug Every time I go to activate my superstars in my lineup it won’t let me do anything. When I press any buttons it doesn’t work at all and I can only hit circle to exit it. Because of this I can’t activate my abilities on my players
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to active superstars tab
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing works and it’s like it’s frozen
What do you expect to see? I expect to activate my abilities

    I have the same issue. Changing to the best lineup does nothing. And a video would do no good. You can literally do nothing except cancel with the circle button. You would have a video of what looks like a still photo. It's gotten worse over the last few weeks. Usually, if you waited 30 seconds or so, you could move. Now, nothing at all. I let it sit for about five minutes. Nothing.

    Thanks for clarifying. Question for you, do you have anything plugged into the console's USB slots? 

    When you're reviewing your lineup, are there any positions with gaps in between back ups and the starters?

    The same thing is happening to me, but just for my defense. I can't activate or deactivate any abilities

    Any solves on this problem?? Currently won’t let me activate anybody. Why is there always a problem in this game foreal

    Can you try that and let me know if it fixes it for you? Do you have more Superstars in your lineup than allowed by any chance f you go to each roster position?

    Thanks that worked for me in MUT 22. My player wasn’t even showing up to be activated. Until I generated best roster.
