Can't edit rosters after roster update

I’m trying to make a custom roster by making trades in roster management before entering Franchise.  I downloaded the roster update, but every time I try to make a trade, it says I have to download the new roster.  I want to put all of my favorite college players on the Packers, but the update seems to have made it impossible to make custom rosters, a staple to Franchise players like myself.  I’m beyond frustrated that the Madden development team can’t seem to figure this out when every other EA game has basic roster management capabilities.  Please fix this game.

Just let us change whatever we want about a player in the Edit Rosters menu. We cant change contracts, the players age, SuperStar/X-Factor abilities, and when the players on IR you cant release them from the team. Also make it so there isn’t any limit to how many players can be at a position/ on the team. It’s stupid to have the edit rosters feature if you cant really edit the rosters very much.

Please give users greater abilities to modify rosters.  Trading is currently not working in "Edit Rosters."  Many players like to change the rosters prior to starting Franchise mode.  Allow users to change contracts, injuries, X-Factor abilities in the edit roster mode.  Many of these features are available in Franchise mode, but not in the main menu.  Users are given so much more control of the roster management experience in other EA games (NHL and FIFA) but for some reason Madden has always limited this feature of the game.  Please look into how other branches of EA have figured out how to make roster editing a fundamental part of the game and please implement this into Madden.  Please fix the game.  I can't start any of my Franchises right now because I can't edit the roster.

Tried to edit rosters again today and still had no luck.  Madden support is a joke.  Why even have this service when nobody answers the questions or even reaches out to solve the bug.

@EA_Kent Is there any way for the Madden Team to take a look at this?  I tried filling out a bug report in the EA contact page, but the only option I have is to post on answers.ea.com instead of talking to someone.  I have heard nothing from the Madden team for two weeks now and I still can't do anything with roster editing.  Every time I try to edit rosters outside of franchise or any game mode, it always tells me I need to download the latest roster to make trades.  If I do anything to the roster, like sign a free agent, or make a single trade, I can't go back in to make a trade.  The message I get each time is, "A new roster is available!  To trade players, you need the latest version.  Download the update from Manage Rosters > Update Rosters."  I do that, and again, I can only make one trade and the message pops up again.

Please contact back or send me the info on who to contact.  This is the first Madden game that I've had this much trouble with rosters.  Every Madden has had its fair share of issues, but this game is currently unplayable for me.

This has been going on for a solid month icustomizing the rosters for franchise are all I like to do have you had any luck I tried uninstalling then reinstalling but still a no go.

Did you ever find a way to fix this? I stopped playing for months bc of it and just came back and it’s still an issue 

I have the issue too. I wish I could just get a refund for this game.
