Coach Mode for Franchise
I know this has been posted many times. In fact, I've requested this every year for the past 3 or 4 Maddens. But it is the single most important feature to me and probably to many other users who are of a strategic mindset and just want to manage their players and call plays without stick skills or user QB reads being a factor.
I would like to see a real Coach Mode that can be turned on franchise-wide for a CFM. The Coach Mode would have the following aspects:
- Each coach manages their team and can call plays as they currently do
- Each coach can make pre-snap adjustments as they currently do
- After the snap, the play is 100% run by the CPU, on both offense and defense
There is currently no mode in the game that allows this. The existing "Coach Mode" setting has many limitations, including breaking RPOs and run options, disabling scrambling, and breaking zone coverage on defense (holding L1 for defensive assist being the defensive equivalent here). It also cannot be enforced league wide for a CFM. On the other side, we have Super Sim, but this does not allow calling plays, which is extremely important especially in leagues that are scheme focused and use custom playbooks.
I would give EA a lot of money to see this feature in Madden 24. This feature would be a game changer.
