Does Madden 24 need One Drive to work on PC?

I recently was able to play Madden about 3 weeks ago before I took a break. I came back last week to play again, and the game would not launch from the Ea app, crashing from the black screen time and again. I recently uninstalled One Drive because I couldn't get the damn thing to erase all the files saved, saying it was full, so I uninstalled it to be rid of the headache. Now Im wonder if this game is tied to one drive, and if so, why?

    @DueceBlades

    OneDrive is not required. Try the following steps:

    Windows minimum requirements

    • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
    • Processor (AMD): Athlon X4 880K @4GHz or Equivalent
    • Processor (Intel): Core i3-6100 @3.7GHz or Equivalent
    • Memory: 8 GB
    • Graphics card (AMD): Radeon RX 460 or Equivalent
    • Graphics card (NVIDIA): GeForce GTX 660 or Equivalent
    • DirectX: 11 Compatible video card or equivalent
    • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
    • Hard-drive space: 50 GB

    Thanks.

  • Please just stop with the system requirements.. I specifically put that first because I knew someone would bring that up.. THE GAME RUNS on my laptop when it actually is able to load and not crash back to the app from the black screen. I've done all of those other things, the game continuously crashes after the black screen, and it never did that before. This is infuriating because the game was working, and now after the November update, it no longer does, and nobody seems to know why. I have 5G capable internet from spectrum, my internet connection is fine.
