Summarize your bug Was halfway through my season and the game turned my cornerback into a quarterback. All stats were reset. And the only skill points available were quarterback skill points. It still said I was a cornerback up in the top right corner. But upgrade points were all quarterback skills. Was forced to delete and restart my season.. THIS IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE.. AND IT IS HAPPENING ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS. A GAME BREAKING BUG PLEASE FIX!!!!
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Actually play the game....and you will see how it switches your position automatically no way you can miss it.. or hire game testers to show you
What happens when the bug occurs? When you load to play your game it switches your position to quarterback and resets all your skill points
What do you expect to see? I expect my position and player to stay the same until I retire.

This exact same thing happened to me on Monday night… FotFC changed my record breaking WR to QB. Still show up as WR in actual game and Depth Chart but my attributes are for WB.. when will this be fixed? I was at an 82 overall now I’m 73 overall.
Yup all your record-breaking stats are gone now you will have to restart. Your guy will have the same overall but his career will be brand new. I advise not to even try because it's going to happen again eventually, it happened to me for the third time last night and I made it halfway through my second year this time so I thought it was good. But nope. I am done playing this game until they fix it I almost snapped it in half I was that mad. The game is a waste of time at the moment.
Literally just happened to me. I spent 20 hours getting my WR up to level 15 . In the AFC Championship game week, 255 rec 3965 yards 33 tds all in regular season about to be league mvp . Wtf. Please just change me back to WR!! Come on EA . Do better.
I’m playing FotF on Xbox X and same thing happened. Started as WR, had my rating up to 92 and at the start of the new season it decreased my rating to 80 with goals / progress of a QB except I play WR. Is there a fix or workaround yet?
- @herrma12In the FotF menu that shows The League, The Yard, and Customize, go to customize. Click upgrade skills and upgrade whatever your position is supposed to be. You'll have to periodically check it to see if an upgrade is available, but it's the best thing you can do right now. Problem is, until you get your qb ovr up, you'll be considered that ovr and probably won't be high enough to play in the pro bowl
Yes, I gave a workaround a few posts up the page. I am now halfway through my second season as a Linebacker so it has worked for me so far.
