Face of The Franchise positions changing

Same issue here. I have now started FIVE different careers in Face of the Franchise mode, starting as a variety of different positions (HB, LB, WR). I have never made it farther than Week 4 of my second season before experiencing this bug. My player is suddenly shown as a QB as opposed to whatever position I chose and played as at the start, and I now have QB skills/stats instead of the correct ones for my position.

As an offline player (almost exclusively FotF and Franchise modes), Madden 23 is essentially unplayable for me right now. Complete waste of $70 and VERY disappointing to say the least.

Summarize your bug Regardless of what position my player starts his career as, he is always spontaneously converted to the QB position. I have never made it farther than a few weeks into my second season without this happening. When it does, my character becomes terrible as all of the skill points and progression earned so far went towards making him better at his actual position, not QB (e.g., my 87 OVR LB is suddenly a 70 OVR QB because LBs don't have have or need throw power or throw accuracy statistics. However, he does become the best tackling/hardest hitting QB in the league literally overnight...). After the unexpected switch, there does not appear to be any way to change my player's position back. I am forced to delete the save file and start a whole new career.
How often does the bug occur? I have experienced this bug in every FotF career I have started at any position other than QB (five times total)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start any FotF career at a non-QB position. Play a few games, then close Madden 23 or restart the console. The closing/updating of the game and/or restarting the console appears to be the trigger for the switch of positions.
What happens when the bug occurs? Non-QB player is suddenly forced to play QB. See further details in summary above.
What do you expect to see? My created player continuing to play the position I chose at the start of his career.
