[Gameplay] LBs/DBs ignore their assignment and start rushing the QB

@JohnDoe10187 my first guess: do you play one of the defensive lineman and trigger a pass rush move? this issue has been reported/discussed in Madden 21 too. In most cases, the players unknowingly triggered the closest DB/LB to rush the QB (which is foreseen mainly for QB spies, I'd guess). if this is the case, it is not a bug.

I do not know the key assignments on PS, but I'd suggest to do some trials in practice mode. Just play a DL and 1) do the pass rush moves you normally do, and then 2) do not do it. I'd guess you might find out which button is used to trigger this pass rush.

Why are cornerbacks and safites leaving their assignments? People are running wide-open....EA needs to fix this

@Neo_Novalis Just spent an hr testing it, the lbs and dbs still do it. Less when I don't play d-line, however when I play d-line and only use the hit stick nothing else they still do it. If this is a feature and not a bug its not a good one in my opinion.

Summarize your bug The defenses just plain don’t work. Zone coverage is bad. Blitzes almost never hit home. It has basically just become a game of “whoever scores last.” It’s nonsense. It is even more difficult when facing computers, because the computer just shreds every defense you have on the field. It’s almost impossible to get a stop.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Fix the defenses and make them more effective with a patch. It’s the worst defensive play I’ve ever seen out of a Madden game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Offenses score at will. The defense immediately blows coverages. Blitzes never hit home.
What do you expect to see? I expect for EA to put a patch out ASAP to correct this problem.

@Neo_NovalisNope no adjustments, just literally only using the stick to do d-line moves after the ball is snapped.
