How can I get updated rosters after server shutdown?

Not to long ago I got Madden 20 since it is the last time the Washington Redskins were in a game and wanted to take them to many Super Bowls. Only problem is that the servers are shut down which is fine but there is a player on the team who is on injured reserve and can't remove them from the default rosters so am wondering is there another way I can still find the final updated roster for 20 or is there some way to either release or trade the player. Only way I can think of is by starting a franchise to edit the roster but I also like to edit the default roster when I just want to play a quick game.
