How my Face of the Franchise CB character randomly turns into QB?

I have played 4 weeks in my Madden 23 Face the Franchise mode with CB as my player and now the player randomly changed to QB. It says I am still a CB in the top right corner but I can only upgrade QB things and I only have QB abilities. But still in the game I play as a CB but I have speed of 81. Which is the worst in the entire league by 4. My physique isn't the problem because I am 6'2'' and 203 lbs. This is very annoying and makes the game unplayable. Is there anyway fixing this or is my CB career down the drain? I put the provements pictures here if I was able to.

    @donkki Is there a fix for this? I’m currently having this issue. My CB player turned into a QB and I don’t know how to fix it

    @AlexHighASF I don't have any idea. That happened and then I stopped playing because it was annoying asf and didn't find any fixes for that and wasn't brave enough to go dig game files.

    @Sgoforth5 Yeah. I have had the same problem with all dang positions in FOTF. Except QB so I stopped playing.

    Date/time issue occurred 11/28/2022
    What type of issue do you have? Face of the Franchise Player got Reset to Lvl. 1 and lost his OVR, starting back at a 73, but Season and games haven’t reset 
    Which mode has this happened in? Face of the Franchise
    Which part of the mode? Cornerback
    Summarize your bug After I played a game (Week 4) and was back on the normal menu my screen froze, I closed app and loaded it back up and my player lost his OVR and lvl, everything reset. Except the game I’ve played I’m 4-0 but everything else is reset.  When I’m loading him up it says he plays QB but he is a CB and I don’t know how to fix it.
    How often does the bug occur? First time

    @donkki Same happened with me it keep changing my WR to QB I always get to game 2 of the regular season and when I turn it off and come back to it it’s gone totally erased what’s going on

    I can’’t upgrade my WR skills b cause it makes me upgrade my QB skills. I have the same issue and it is so annoying. I can’t be a good receiver with QB skills.

    I was at a cut scene when the game froze after talking to my defensive coordinator. Caused me to force quit game both times and reset my MLB to a QB playing MLB. Was 7 games into my regular season when this happened. Ruined my playable experience on this game with it happening TWICE.

    Shame on EA for leaving the game mode littered with this game breaking bug.
