Information Regarding Recent Bans v2

I just want to clarify as there is a post Pinned to the top of the forum page by EA_Blueberry, about recent bans and that an improper message does not change the fact recipients have engaged in Coin Distribution....

However, there is also another quite different recent spate of bans - in my instance, and I gather the case of many others, there has not been any Coin Distribution - no breach of TOS at all.  I am completely clean player and have never broken rules.

I also have not had any email or communication from EA about my ban other than being unable to access the Auction House and the splash screen on entering MUT.  This is not a case as per Blueberrys post that people have received the wrong message so are being ‘let off’ this is a case of, “I’ve done nothing wrong, have not received any message from EA and have had my account access denied for over two weeks with no solution still in sight.”

I will continue to make noise here until I receive an apology and explanation from EA.

  • On top of that, compensation for what we have missed such as tokens, coins and players. Im going on week 3 myself now. And all they do is update on EA help. And it says it updates hours ahead of what time it really is. We don't pay all this money for an issue that should never occur in the first place

  • Couldn’t have said this better myself! I did ZERO coin distributions and EA gives me a screen that I’m accused of coin distribution and a cheater.. I’m going on a month of not being able to play this stupid football game and I’m pissed off because they basically sold me an $80 game that I can’t even play.. crooked mother (#*#*#*ing) Thiefs!!

    So I am now at 3 weeks since I found out I had somehow been banned from the auction house.

    I have still not had any formal or proper communication from EA telling me I have been banned for some (illusionary) breach of TOS.

    Like many other players I firmly believe my ban to be some glitch as I know I play a clean game and have never engaged in any illegal or immoral activities such as the presumed ‘coin distribution’.

    Since this has happened I have made every effort to communicate with EA, I have opened cases, held chats with customer support, emailed EA Help and received ‘amazing’ (and frankly useless or insulting) advice from Community Managers on here.

    So I’m frustrated that today in my inbox I find what looks like an auto reply to my case (3 week old case).  An auto reply or not, it only fuels my disgust with EA to suggest this is ‘my query’ - not like it’s some gross error on their part that is likely affecting many many innocent players.

    How long must it take for EA to discover something is wrong with whatever bit of their systems has handed out these bans?

    on top of that, there is a post pinned at the top of this forum with a number of players being let off from bans for coin distribution simply because they didn’t receive the correct email - well I didn’t receive any email - so even if I had cheated (which I definitely have not) it’s further insult to injury that players who have cheated can apparently be unbanned quicker than I can because they at least got a wrong email. Surely receiving NO email should be a sure fire fix here??

  • @stalhill I haven’t been able to play in over a month and I didn’t cheat or participate in coin distribution. I hate EA and their terrible customer service.. ruined my m21 season and essentially stole $80 from me as I can’t even play the game. I hope they restore everything for you.. I typically spend $ when the big promos come out like most feared, thxgiving, Xmas and Super Bowl promos.. they have lost all those profits and any future profits they would have generated from me.. I can’t wait till the nfl drops these clowns.

    So my complaint with EA gets worse. I’ve opened a case with PSN asking for a refund, and finally after two weeks they get back having been in touch with EA about my case. EA have basically lied, but this time I’m apparently banned for use of 3rd party software for automating marketplace activity - does anyone know how to do that on a PS4???

    anyway it’s clear that EA are full of bull, as a ban for Coin Distribution (innocent) is now being told to EA as use of 3rd party software (again innocent).  So EA dont have a consistent story here.

    it’s increasingly sounding like the glitch is caused by the companion app which someone else has mentioned previously.

  • So without any announcement, my account is "unbanned" again - only 6 weeks since the 12th October when it was wrongfully perma banned.

    My case with EA is still open - no answer.

    I still have not had any emails from EA about a "ban" for "coin distribution".  So no official notice has ever been received. 

    I have not had any explanation from EA, no apology, no offer to compensate the lost tokens (Legend, Crown, Weekly etc) due to lost game time.  

    EA are a joke.  Im a customer, I deserve better treatment than this.  Millions of people like me pay your wages and your shareholder dividends.  Treat us better.
