Madden 20 Glitch

When playing Madden on my brand new PS4, it has this glitching problem where before the snap, when I’m playing offense, it like takes a certain player and does like sunshine rays of that player all the way across the screen so you are unable to see. I’ve deleted the game off of my ps4 and redownloaded it several times and it still has this problem. Any ideas on a solution?

    I see. It really does look like this might be a hardware issue. The graphical artifacts you're seeing are really similar to what happens with a PC video card if it's getting too hot or if it the card is damaged. I think it would be best to reach out to PlayStation Support directly and let them know what's happening so they can take a look.

    That definitely sounds weird. Would you be able to grab a screenshot or a video clip of this happening so I can take a look?

    Hmm, that looks like graphical artifacting. I've seen it happen on PC video cards when they're running too hot, but I don't think I've ever seen that on a PS4. Looking at the photo you sent us, I see that your PS4 is in a cupboard on top of your cable/satellite box. I know it can be tough to find space for consoles, but is there any way you could try moving it to a different location where it might not get as warm? I'm concerned that having it in a space like that might be causing it to get too hot. It's probably absorbing a lot of heat from the other box it's resting on as well.

    That is the second place it has been the other place it was, was by itself on a shelf so I do not believe that is the issue. Any other idea?

    Do you have any other HDMI cables that you could try using to connect the PS4 to your TV? Artifacts like that can also happen because of a bad cable as well.

    I tried an old hdmi cord first and then I switched it to the one that came with the ps4 and it still does this.

    Hmm, I see. You're only seeing this happening with Madden 20? You haven't noticed any issues like this with other games at all?

    Madden is the only one. I also have 2k20 and it has not happened with that game at all.

    That's definitely strange. If at all possible, is there any way that you could try launching the game on a different PS4? If you have a friend who has one I'd be curious to see if you run into the same issue on a different console.
