Madden 22 Franchise PS4 will not let me play a game (cloud)

Summarize your bug Every time I go into an existing franchise or a new franchise and I go to play a game the controller on my screen is between the 2 teams and not on my teams side and it won’t let me play it just freezes on that screen. I’ve tried restarting the game, restarting my Xbox, deleting and red pawn loading the game, unplugging my Xbox, updating my controller, using a different controller, and using a different account but none of these have worked. I went on madden 21 and I was able to play but on madden 22 it’s not. And it’s not anything with settings.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You can find it in the franchise mode when I attempt to play a game against the cpu
What happens when the bug occurs? When the bug occurs it won’t let me do anything on the screen like change my jerseys or start the game. My only option available is to back out of the screen.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my problem solved because I play franchise a lot and I’m frustrated not being able to play when I’ve tried everything I can to resolve it. If it can’t be solved I would like my money back and the next madden for free because it’s not my fault that the game isn’t working and I bought the game to play all of the modes and with this bug I’m not getting that.

The photo attached  shows my controller stuck in the middle of the screen and there are no arrows that direct me to my teams side which there usually are. I tried to attach a video below but it won’t allow me to.

It always puts my controller in the middle of the screen and I know the issue can be caused by having multiple accounts linked to the same ea account but I only have one account linked.

I know this bug happens when multiple accounts are linked to the same ea account but I only have one linked and still have the issue

Summarize your bug When I start a game in franchise, the controller freeze when I confirm my team and jersey. My controller is block in the middle so I can confirm to start a game.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I dont know, its been month since I got this bug. I redownload the game but nothing work.
What happens when the bug occurs? I just cant confirm and start playing.

This might be due to having two PSN IDs on your account. Visit profile.ea.com and see if there are more than one on there. If so, one must be un-linked and re-linked to a new EA account.

Un-linking a persona can result in progress lost for that account.

It's important the persona that is removed is attached to a new EA account to complete this process. To do that, simply log into an EA account with the persona you removed and use a new email address when registering the account. 

Just like to let you know that Madden is a horrible game. 

I try to play madden 22 Franchise (Cloud) and one it says I’m not commissioner so I can’t delete the franchise, it doesn’t let me play games in franchise, the controller just sits in the middle of the 2 teams, I can’t download a draft class… what is the point of having a game and mode if it’s broken. Truly. 

when I make trades, I have to leave the trade center to then make another, because it won’t let me trade another player. 

when I want to use a different roster it gives me the “can’t connect to ea” basically just saying to go screw myself. Which this is all cool and fine, just don’t charge people 60$ a year to play it. At most 25$ because we enjoy the NFL. We don’t enjoy your game. No one does. It’s broken. Slow. Unfinished. Animated all over. The gameplay is trash. Abilities are trash. It’s strange how year after year you manage to suck at making a game after getting feedback. No one wants EA involved in any game. 

Star Wars you screwed up, madden you screwed up, now somehow you got your hands on NCAA (pain) because you guys are gonna screw it up and make it horrible. Thank god Respawn has control over apex because man you would have made that horrible. 

I hope this reaches to someone and not some stupid bot that doesn’t know anything.

Regarding the comnmissioner error, that is likely due to too many save files across your offline modes. Please try removing all cloud and local save files.

Based off what you're describing with the other error messages, it's likely due to having 2 or more personas of the same platform on your EA account.

Visit profile.ea.com and check to see if you have more than one Gamertag or PSN ID. If you have multiple, you'll want to remove the one you do not mind losing EA progress on. Once that Gamertag/PSN ID is removed you need to attach it to a new EA account by simply logging into Madden again. It will prompt you with account creation in which you'll want to use a different email address.

Once that is done those other error messages like not being able to connect should cease. If it continues please let me know. Sorry to hear about how frustrating it's been for you. Let me know if those steps help.
