Are you on a wired or wireless connection?
I am on wired internet and having the same issues this is becoming so absurd and INCREDIBLY annoying
- 2 years ago@AAsomers And support doesn’t give af. This is embarrassing on EA’s part. I talked on a live chat with 2 people and they just ended the chat when they’re ideas weren’t working

Having this problem now on Madden 24
Just adding another entry to the list. I contacted the chat help and got the same information that has been posted by EA on here several times (check your internet connections, check your account, make sure it is linked, etc.). I have also cleared my cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, unlinked and relinked my EA/PSN accounts, changed my DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4., deleted my Madden 23 profile and created a new one, unplugged my router for several minutes, unplugged the PS5 for several minutes, restored the licenses, and probably half a million other things that I don't remember right now. Rebooted the console after each change. Stopped doing anything for an hour and tried again.
Weirdly, I can play FIFA 24 and I can play Madden 23 ps5 version on the ps5. Unfortunately, our franchise was started on PS4 so we are still playing there and the PS5 version will not crossplay with PS4. I get the same "in order to access the online features for this title..." error on both the PS5 and PS4 (yes, I connected it and tried all of the same things to no avail).
The chat advisor said he would send it to the gaming department to look and that it would be fixed soon. Since I've seen posts about this issue all the way back to 2016 I am not holding my breath. Nearly 10 years and EA still can't figure this out. I'm ashamed for EA and it makes me really question whether or not I'm going to end up buying the new College Football game. Nothing like years of a dynasty being lost because of some fluke that EA is not able to figure out.
