Xbox series X, tried reboot xbox, router etc & reinstall. Even tried password change on EA. Same issue as everyone else. Cant play franchise even offline

It would be really nice to have someone from ea who is actually working on this problem explain the situation and give an estimate on when this will be resolved. The problem is clearly on their end and to have these moderators continue to say the same things over and over again about checking our internet connection, rebooting the console and modem, etc in every thread is getting really old and extremely frustrating. I understand things happen, but at least come on here, be up front, explain the situation, tell us what you’re doing to fix the problem, and how long it may take to fix it. I was stunned when I chatted with someone from ea last night and was told to come back in “some time” to see if it was fixed. What made it worse was then the guy says they’re been instructed by there higher ups to not tell us the problem or when it may be fixed. I’ve never seen customer service that’s this bad in my life. I asked for a refund and the response I got again was I understand you’re frustrated but come back in some time and hopefully it will be fixed. Ridiculous.

I've done everything that they have said been going on 4hrs and still can't even get on the game cause it won't connect.

Hey EA - why can't you just input your login credentials in the Madden 23 dashboard? This makes 0 sense. Every time I try to sign in it wants me to reset my password. Resetting routers, deleting the game, etc. is not the answer.

I am on Playstation 5 disc version, i am on a type 2 wifi, this occurred 24 hours ago, i was inside of madden ultimate team and just added a new player into my team. the bug occurs anytime i try to get into MUT.

Only in madden ultimate team, the game mode which I mainly play as a competitive player, has made it so I am unable to play any games of online, solo challenges/battles, play a friend, nothing works while I am still able to access the auction house, buy/sell cards and get rewards for completing objectives (purchase a pack). I can change my lineup anyway I want to, but just cannot play anything, and whenever I attempt to it gives me the error message of “Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later.” And whenever I attempt to search for a MUT head to head game it will just queue infinitely until I cancel it, the longest queues I have sat in trying to get a game is 45 minutes. I have quit app every single time before opening up the game, restarted my xbox numerous times, reset my internet, and even tried a family members Xbox Series S to see if that would work, but no luck. I have, however, used the same Xbox Series X to play on another account, so it is a bug that is going on with my account and I do not know the cause of it. It began on 8/17 so I have not been able to use my team since that day in any way. EA Help has told me that there is “no fix available” and also that an update should be soon because the team knows about this issue, but even after the two periods of server maintenance nothing has helped. Also, don’t know if this has anything to do with the bug/glitch stated above, I cannot play any franchise/fotf games. I can load in start whichever career with any position, but I cannot actually play in either of these game modes. I can sim the weeks on franchise mode, but as of now the fotf game mode is literally unplayable because it has my controller icon gets placed and is stuck in the middle whenever I try to start the first preseason game, and the same with franchise if I would actually like to play with my team my controller icon is stuck in the middle of the two teams making it unplayable even though I can at least build a team and simulate seasons with them. In Play Now, I can choose sides so it’s not anything with my controller having an issue, and these problems do not occur trying to switch sides/select teams in other games. Haven’t contacted EA Help about this because ultimate team is my main game mode and that’s the only real concern I have is getting that back. Any and all help is appreciated and if you’re having this issue as well, upvote or whatever it is on this forum so it can hopefully be more of a priority and these bugs/glitches get fixed. - 4 years ago

No matter what I load it says servers cannot process my request or that I am disconnected from ea severs

connected to Wi-Fi
haven’t been able to play for almost 4 days

Hi @Team_Rose1236 The message itself is a general connection one that can have multiple causes. When you have a moment can you try the following steps?
- Check for updates
- Restore Licence
- Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Open you're PS5 NAT Type
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
- Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database
- Clear your PS4/PS5 cache:
- Press and hold the PlayStation button on your controller.
- Select "Turn Off PS".
- Let the PlayStation fully power down and wait for 30-60 seconds.
- Restart the PlayStation.
If you continue running into this error would it be possible to get the following?
Date/time issue occurred:
What were you doing when it happened?
What was the last action you completed before it happened?
How often does the bug occur?
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?
Also, include any troubleshooting, Screenshots/Clips you might have:

None of these have helped.
the last thing I did was play a game on Saturday around 1:30pm est and since then I haven’t been able to play. I’ve tried to play since Monday around 4pm est.This happens in every game mode possible. When I try to play face of the franchise and load into the team select it doesn’t let the controller move to a team and doesn’t let me start the game. Online modes say I am not connected to ea and anything offline says the servers cannot process what I’m doing. Was able to play for a few days after it released and now this. Starting to feel like a waste of money since now I’m not going to be able to get Trevor Lawrence and a bunch of other times rewards cuz I can’t play 🙂.Not understanding how I can pay for a game and not even play it.

Best thing I can say is go get your refund PlayStation is refunding me now , ea isn’t helping they don’t know what to say other then be patient

I have tried everything possible and if there is more that is more technical I am screwed because I am technically not good at all with electronics. I barely can set my ps5 up, so when there is all the technical terms on what is suggested I am clueless. I just want to play the game and don't understand why we have to be logged on to a ea site just to play the game. None other of my sports games have multiple places to login to just to play.

This is getting old real quick. Still can’t play. Still getting servers can’t connect and unknown login error. I don’t understand the issue. What are all the server maintenance hours for if not to fix this problem!?

Called EA again the solution they gave me worked , you have to switch your internet connection to another source like a hotspot go into madden login in to ea servers , it to me two try’s and it logged in then go back switch to your primary WiFi you use then go back into madden and hit log in atleast twice and you’ll get in

The bug is in the “Quick Resume” feature. If you start the game and a small black window in the top right appears that says Quick Resume, you will experience connection issues to the EA servers. I imagine there’s some sort of network handshake that fails in this Quick Resume feature, Aljo please forward this information to the technical debug team so they can focus their efforts properly.
To fix this issue on Xbox Series X, I went to the Xbox Home Screen, on the Madden 23 game icon I pressed start to access a menu and pressed “Quit”. When I restarted Madden 23 after that, I have had a 100% connection success and have been able to play my Franchise save again. The Quick Resume box in the top right does not appear when I am able to successfully launch the game and connect to EA servers.
