I am having the same issues. For the 2 days I have owned the game I haven't gotten to play it at all. All I want to do is play face of the franchise.
I am on disk PS5
I have the digital version of the game
I have a wireless connection
I have reset my console, router, Uninstaller the game and reinstalled it, changed wifi networks, and got on a wired network. Nothing has worked.

And it’s messed up bc ea sports is not easy to contact

Just reinforcing that this is still happening to me. Have run through all suggestions. Sometimes I can get in, but it is not consistent. On PS5. Wired. The message shows up more often than not and has since last Wednesday.
