My other games work fine , it’s not my console because it doesn’t turn off while playing them for hours . I never had an issue with my console . It’s ONLY when I play Madden 23 it has the issue , a lot of people are complaining and u guys had a similar issue with Xbox when it shuts down the console . Now it’s happening to PlayStation 5 users . I already did the safe mode and did everything possible. It’s just madden that this happens. It is not my console because my other games Don’t crash or makes my console to shut off . A lot of people are complaining about having bug problems and crashes playing madden 23 . I just want to play a game that I payed $70 . I never had this issue with no games that I have brought prior in my gaming history . This needs to be fixed it’s not right that people are having crashing problems when we pay alot of money for ur game .

Having the exact issue with my PS5. I’ve bought the digital and disc copy and still crashing my PS5. No other games that I play that are way bigger than madden like GTA and Red dead does this to my ps5. I’ve already open up my PS5 and cleaned the fans as well with a hard reset and still nothing. Madden 23 biggest disappointed so far!

Nah man it’s my Xbox as well. It’s only madden. Same as last year too. Stop acting like you don’t know this is a thing. Pass the buck

@xxepicso1dierxx This sounds like the console is overheating, especially if you have to unplug the console before it will turn back on. Try cleaning the vents, fan and heat sinks/fins with a vacuum cleaner. Using a can of compressed air can clean a console better than other methods, make sure it is plugged out of the electricity and that you hold the can vertically so no liquid comes out. Storing the console out in the open rather than in an enclosed cabinet can help too. Thanks.

Yeah same here .. I'm on PS5 and my on-line franchise keeps crashing.. had to redo my fantasy draft three times..digital version
So expensive for technical test games.. at least sell the games for cheaper since you obviously don't care EA and don't fix the problems
Thanks EA they replied one time saying its an overheating problem and that's it.
Also please fix matchmaking in FiFa Pro clubs..haha if you can pass that word.
Fifa 22 went the whole year on 22 without a fix just left it broke haha

My dude you have no idea what you’re talking about when it comes to madden obviously I bought the 100 dollar addition and can’t even play the game with my entire ps5 crashing and turning off. If multiple people are having the same issue for months like myself it obviously the game that we all payed for and can’t play. Horribly made product

Same here. Crashes and bricks. I even sent my PS5 back to Sony to be fixed…..4 times!! I had 2 PS5’s - Disc and Digital….and they both do it!! Only on Madden and FIFA 22. So both EA games. Played The Show 22 all summer….no problems. But I load up Madden….and boom. About 10-15 mins into a game.

I am convinced it has something to do with your EA account transferring over to next gen. Madden 22 nor 23 worked on my PS5. But, it was only the ps5 version. The ps4 version ran fine on my Ps5. I have sent my console back for repair, tried every troubleshooting step EA and Sony have instructed, and have voiced my frustration with both to no avail.

EA is well aware of this issue and I have countless threads with bug reports from the last two years. Yet, each and every one of those threads end up ghosted and anchored. It’s unbelievable.

This is happening to me as well. I just cleaned my PS5 recently. The PlayStation 5 completely shuts off. It requires removing the cord and back in to turn on. I put in safe mode and have done all the safety measures. Changed outlets as well. It only happens in Madden 24 and no other game.

I'm having the same issue, I thought it was from overheating but when i play other games than madden I can play all day. Is there an update i need or something?
