Madden 23 server issue: cannot access Face of the Franchise mode

I am experiencing a recurring connection issue when trying to access Face of the Franchise on Madden NFL 23. Every time I attempt to load the mode, I receive the following error message: “Our Server...

Hey everyone, 

If you're still running into these errors with Madden 23, can you share some details with us when you've got the chance? 

  • Which platform are you playing on? 
  • What's your PSN ID, Xbox Gamertag, EA Account ID, or Steam ID? 
  • Which game modes are giving you the error when you try to play? 


Having this info would be helpful for us to narrow down what might be causing the errors. Thank you!

    The issue is that Play Now Live has not been working since at least september of last year for every playstation user as well as xbox users, and until just recentry the other online modes weren't working either, so can you guys please fix it?

    • Play Now Live presently is not working. Previously online franchises AND face of the franchise were not working (even if playing alone) but this seems to have been fixed within the last few weeks.

    I'm playing on Xbox and my gamertag is Vezzy all in , Superstar mode is giving me the error code 263 when I try to play it.

    Hi EA_Kent​ Thank you for your help. We are still having issues with "Play now live" and Starting a Online Franchise with Real-Life rosters.

    Platform: Playstation 4 (PS5 has the issue too as a friend also tried there)

    PSN ID: daniel_ic

    Game modes with error: Online Franchise, when starting a Online Franchise with Real-Life rosters. We also cannot start a franchise in any real life season moment. 

    Play Now Live, when trying to play the live game (Super Bowl)

    Same error happens after selecting the option to use real-life rosters.
