After completing the first season of FoTF, I lag out when choosing which team to sign with after the 1 year prove it deal. I cannot continue no matter what I do. Am I just SOL?
EA Staff (Retired)It lags out completely and kicks me from the game. I have to go back in and cannot proceed from this current task. It's immediately after the cut scene asking what my choice is going to be. Brings up all of the choices, you make a selection, and it immediately lags down and after a brief moment, you are back to the load in screen to play fotf.
I posted an issue about FoTF breaking after my first year. Game lagging out and kicking you from FOTF. I got one response from someone with an EA tag, but here we are nearly 2 weeks later and still no answer. Madden had an update, maybe that fixed the issue. Nope still I sit with the same issue. Countless others are experiencing the same issues that I am experiencing. Why are we not getting any kind of help?
I posted about this day before yesterday and got zero response. A bunch of other people have the same problem. WTH? How come we are ignored in our thread?
Coming on and complaining about not getting a response isn't going to help anyone's issue. I'm actually surprised I got a response tbh. People do the best with the limited time each day. We just gotta do the best we can each day to help others.
To answer the question it's both.
Once you accept an offer the game becomes unresponsive for about 10 seconds. Then an error flashes really quickly and you end up back on the FOTF main screen.
I was able to get a screenshot of the error and it looks like the connection lags out as it is a connection error. When I backed out to the main screen it shows that I am still connected. This looks to be specific to FOTF.
It also happens on franchise. The game is completely unplayable. Forget about literally nothing changing in gear etc, you just can’t sign a new contract for FOTF or franchise.
